3. Bennett’s Orchard (F, A)

Bennett’s Orchard is a family tradition that’s been around for over 50 years growing quality fruits and vegetables. On the weekends they make hot donuts, but every day you can find them pressing fresh apple cider. The country store is full of local products including honey from their own bees and farm eggs. 4. Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill (F, A)

This is your one-stop shop where there are fun activities for the kids such as a 3D maze and zombie paintball with hard cider for the adults to enjoy. Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill sits on 500 acres with three independent facilities. 5. Brookwood Fruit Farm (F)

This is a fifth generation family fruit farm that grows many different varieties of fruits including raspberries, apples, tart cherries, and peaches. 6. Cherry Creek Wine (A)

7. Dexter Cider Mill (F, A)

The Dexter Cider Mill is one of the oldest operating cider mills in the state of Michigan using an oak rack press to make their fresh apple cider. Recently, they expanded to producing hard cider for those over the age of 21. Along with the cider, they offer apples, vegetables, and many decadent treats from their very own bakery.
8. Diehl’s Orchard & Cider Mill (F)

This farm sits on 100 acres in Holly, Michigan offering a wide variety of apples including Honeycrisp, McIntosh, Gala, and Jonathan. A few fall favorites include their cider, apple butter, and Michigan grown popcorn. There is a tricky but fun corn maze for both kids and adults along the orchard. 9. Erie Orchards & Cider Mill (F)

This family-owned farm grows blueberries, peaches, apples, and pumpkins every single year. Visitors can shop at the country store, pick their own fruit, adventure through the corn maze, or even stop by the animal center for a petting zoo. Be sure to check out their Apple Festival that features activities for kids including pony and hay rides with many caramel apples and donuts to enjoy.
10. Erwin Orchards (F)

This three generation family orchard is located just outside of Detroit in South Lyon, Michigan. The farm has a wide variety of some of the best apples, raspberries, cherries, and pumpkins to choose from. There are many different things to indulge in here including specialty raspberry cider or apple cider slush. For the kids, there is a corn maze, sunflower garden, and a 3D attraction called Mr. Bee’s 3-D Adventure.
11. Fieldstone Winery & Hard Cider (A)

12. Goodison Cider Mill (F)

Located on the northern outskirts of metro Detroit you can find Goodison Cider Mill in Rochester, Michigan. Here they use a century-old press to produce and fill hundreds of jugs full of fresh apple cider for visitors to take home. Visit the restaurant to find a variety of baked goods including their world famous pistachio nut bread. On Sundays, kids can enjoy the bounce house while parents relax under the tent or at the many picnic tables.
13. Hy’s Cider Mill (F)
6350 37 Mile Road, Bruce Township, MI
This small farmer’s market offers u-pick apples with a wagon ride that brings you there, pumpkins, and a variety of baked goods. It is located in the Detroit metropolitan area just an hour north of the city. There are many picnic tables scattered across the property that make it the perfect place for families to visit and enjoy the view of apple cider being made.
14. Kapnick Orchards (F)

Kapnick Orchards is located in southeastern Michigan in the city of Britton. They make cider in two different ways – the old fashioned way and the newer method using a UV light machine. 15. Long Family Orchard, Farm & Cider Mill (F)

This orchard, farm, and cider mill is located in Commerce Township just outside of Pontiac. Not only are you able to enjoy picking your own assortment of apples, but there is also a wide variety of garden vegetables that are grown here also. There are plenty of activities for the kids here including a small corn maze, petting zoo, hayrides, a giant slide, and more.
16. Markillie Orchard (F)
5200 N. Latson, Howell, MI
Markillie Orchard is located in Howell, Michigan that specializes in apples and donuts. There is an abundance of space for visitors to enjoy many of the treats they offer including cider slushes, soft serve ice cream, jams, and more. There is also an outdoor play area for kids to enjoy while visiting the orchard.
17. Meckley’s Flavor Fruit Farm (F, A)

Keeping family tradition as the main focus, Meckley’s Flavor Fruit Farm uses a “rack and cloth” style press to create small batches which has been around for over 100 years. Every day, fresh bread, pies, and donuts are made with local ingredients. There is an ice cream parlor on site with sixteen hand-dipped flavors to choose. Family fun takes place on the weekends with live entertainment, pony rides, hot dog roasts, and a pumpkin patch. 18. Big Red Apple Orchard (F)

Located on the outskirts of metro Detroit in Washington Township, Michigan, Miller’s Big Red Apple Orchard is a popular destination for fresh donuts, pies, apple cider, and local produce. 19. Obstbaum Orchards (F, A)

Obstbaum Orchards is located in Northville, Michigan which is just right outside of Detroit. Visitors can get a chance to watch this 40-year old cider mill in action to see how cider is pressed. Check out the country store to get your fix of the popular Montmorency Tart Cherry Juice Concentrate. Kids can enjoy the hayrides while adults sip on a glass of their very own wine or hard cider.
20. Parmenter’s Northville Cider Mill (F, A)

Visit Parmenter’s Northville Cider Mill for traditional cider mill goodies and treats. On the weekends, you can experience and watch the cider being pressed. In the fall, they open the Nut Hut, Fudge Hut, and Chow Mill serving up their own candied nuts, fudge, and hot dogs to visitors. 21. Rochester Cider Mill (F)

22. Stony Creek Orchard & Cider Mill (F)

This property is surrounded by 300-foot locus and pine trees that offer visitors a unique place to pick apples and pumpkins. 23. The Franklin Cider Mill (F)

This cider mill is a family owned tradition that has been around for almost two centuries serving some of the best non-pasteurized fresh cider and hot donuts. Three Cedars Farm is a fun time for the whole family with activities including u-pick pumpkins, a corn maze, the barnyard playland, hayrides, and train rides. 26. Wasem Fruit Farm (F)

This is a family-owned orchard located in southeastern Michigan producing a wide variety of different fruits and vegetables and of course, apples. You can pick your own apples, pumpkins, and tart cherries here. They press their own unpasteurized cider and make fresh donuts daily. There are even school tours that are offered to kids.
27. Westview Orchards & Winery (F, A)

This is one of Michigan’s oldest orchards that turned into a fun trip for the entire family with u-pick apples and raspberries along with apple cider and corn mazes. There is a hearty selection of different vegetables and fruits available for purchase. There are many events that take place regularly here that are worth checking out. Located on the east side of Michigan, Wiard’s is a big deal with their cider mill that’s been around for over 181 years.
