3. Bennett’s Orchard (F, A)

Bennett’s Orchard is a family tradition that’s been around for over 50 years growing quality fruits and vegetables. On the weekends they make hot donuts, but every day you can find them pressing fresh apple cider. The country store is full of local products including honey from their own bees and farm eggs. 4. Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill (F, A)

This is your one-stop shop where there are fun activities for the kids such as a 3D maze and zombie paintball with hard cider for the adults to enjoy. Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill sits on 500 acres with three independent facilities. 5. Brookwood Fruit Farm (F)

This is a fifth generation family fruit farm that grows many different varieties of fruits including raspberries, apples, tart cherries, and peaches. 6. Cherry Creek Wine (A)

7. Dexter Cider Mill (F, A)

3685 Central Street, Dexter, MI

The Dexter Cider Mill is one of the oldest operating cider mills in the state of Michigan using an oak rack press to make their fresh apple cider. Recently, they expanded to producing hard cider for those over the age of 21. Along with the cider, they offer apples, vegetables, and many decadent treats from their very own bakery.

8. Diehl’s Orchard & Cider Mill (F)

1479 Ranch Road, Holly, MI

This farm sits on 100 acres in Holly, Michigan offering a wide variety of apples including Honeycrisp, McIntosh, Gala, and Jonathan. A few fall favorites include their cider, apple butter, and Michigan grown popcorn. There is a tricky but fun corn maze for both kids and adults along the orchard. 9. Erie Orchards & Cider Mill (F)

This family-owned farm grows blueberries, peaches, apples, and pumpkins every single year. Visitors can shop at the country store, pick their own fruit, adventure through the corn maze, or even stop by the animal center for a petting zoo. 10. Erwin Orchards (F)

This three generation family orchard is located just outside of Detroit in South Lyon, Michigan. The farm has a wide variety of some of the best apples, raspberries, cherries, and pumpkins to choose from. There are many different things to indulge in here including specialty raspberry cider or apple cider slush. 12. Goodison Cider Mill (F)

Located on the northern outskirts of metro Detroit you can find Goodison Cider Mill in Rochester, Michigan. Here they use a century-old press to produce and fill hundreds of jugs full of fresh apple cider for visitors to take home. 13. Hy’s Cider Mill (F)

This small farmer’s market offers u-pick apples with a wagon ride that brings you there, pumpkins, and a variety of baked goods. It is located in the Detroit metropolitan area just an hour north of the city. 14. Kapnick Orchards (F)

Kapnick Orchards is located in southeastern Michigan in the city of Britton. They make cider in two different ways – the old fashioned way and the newer method using a UV light machine. 15. Long Family Orchard, Farm & Cider Mill (F)

This orchard, farm, and cider mill is located in Commerce Township just outside of Pontiac. Not only are you able to enjoy picking your own assortment of apples, but there is also a wide variety of garden vegetables that are grown here also. 16. Markillie Orchard (F)

Markillie Orchard is located in Howell, Michigan that specializes in apples and donuts. There is an abundance of space for visitors to enjoy many of the treats they offer including cider slushes, soft serve ice cream, jams, and more. There is also an outdoor play area for kids to enjoy while visiting the orchard.

17. Meckley’s Flavor Fruit Farm (F, A)

Keeping family tradition as the main focus, Meckley’s Flavor Fruit Farm uses a “rack and cloth” style press to create small batches which has been around for over 100 years. Every day, fresh bread, pies, and donuts are made with local ingredients. There is an ice cream parlor on site with sixteen hand-dipped flavors to choose. This is a family-owned orchard located in southeastern Michigan producing a wide variety of different fruits and vegetables and of course, apples.
