Where is Boulder Ridge located?

Boulder Ridge is in Alto, Michigan. It is roughly 25 minutes from Grand Rapids and 45 minutes from Lansing.

What are the hours for Boulder Ridge?

The wild animal park is open from May to October. Monday through Saturday the park opens at 10 am and closes at 6 pm with the last admission at 5 pm. Sunday the park opens at 12 pm and closes at 6 pm. The park is open on all major holidays during the season as well.

How much does Boulder Ridge cost?

Children 2 and under are free. Prices then start at $14 for kids ages 3 to 11 and adults, starting at the age of 12, are $18. Seniors 62 and over are $16.

Boulder Ridge also offers membership options that are good for one year from purchase. Membership (prices ranging from $40 for children to $60 for adults) provides free entry into the park. Additionally, it gets you 10% off at concession stands or $1 off the train ride at the park.

Memberships at other zoos do not apply when visiting Boulder Ridge. The park is privately funded and, therefore does not offer discounts if you are a member at another zoo.

Do you have to pay for parking at Boulder Ridge?

Parking is free and located right near the park entrance.

Yes, the grounds of Boulder Ridge, as well as bathrooms, are handicap accessible. The majority of the park is paved. They also have hand-powered wheelchairs available as well.

Unfortunately, service animals are not allowed at Boulder Ridge for the safety of all animals.
