Concerts to Look Forward to for the Remainder of 2016

The busy-ness of the holiday season will be here before you know it! That doesn’t mean you don’t have time for a concert or two during November and December. We’ve highlighted some of the best concerts coming to Michigan for the remainder of 2016. Grab your tickets today!

KANSAS

November 6th — Kalamazoo State Theater

Classic rock band KANSAS will take the stage at Kalamazoo State Theater for their Leftoverture Tour. The tour is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the album Leftoverture, where they will play the entire album. The band also released its 15th studio album earlier this year and have many hits to belt out in addition to their Leftoverture album.

Old Dominion

November 16th – The Intersection

This up-and-coming country group is sure to put on a great show for the Meat & Candy Tour. Unfortunately, this concert is already sold out, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t tickets floating around on the internet, they might cost a pretty penny though. If you do grab a ticket, be sure to check out a lot of great restaurants near The Intersection beforehand.

Stevie Nicks

November 23rd — Van Andel Arena
November 27th — The Palace of Auburn Hills

Stevie Nicks is hitting the road on her 24 Karat Gold Tour starting late October. She arrives for two shows in Michigan at the end of November. One show taking place in Grand Rapids, the other in Detroit. The tour is named after her 2014 album, 24 Karat Gold – Songs From The Vault.

Uncle Kracker

November 25th — Royal Oak Music Theater

Michigan native, Uncle Kracker, will put on the 6th Annual Thanksgiving Hangover Bash at the Royal Oak Music Theater. This is one concert you won’t want to miss, especially when the singer is near his hometown.

Kenny Rogers

December 8th — Fox Theater

Kenny Rogers is keeping with tradition by putting on an annual Christmas concert. Since releasing the album titled Christmas in 1981, he has gone on regular Christmas & Hits tours. This will be Rodgers’ last Christmas tour, making it a bittersweet one. If you haven’t grabbed tickets yet, be sure to do so while you still can!

Kanye West

December 22nd — The Palace of Auburn Hills

Kanye West is coming to Detroit right before Christmas time for The Saint Pablo Tour. Kanye was originally scheduled to perform at the Palace on October 6th, but due to a family emergency he had to reschedule his tour date. Prior to the tour, Kanye released his seventh solo album, The Life of Pablo.
